pkg-devel trouble

Todays pkg-devel (at least how I installed it, kludgy because it can't install once deinstalled... needs
its own reinstaller code?)   works better with "pkg install"  but throws sqlite error trying to install from
ports, IOW ports is broken after "registering" ==>   Registering installation for MuSE-0.9.2_14
