And as such you can rename any interface on your system. I'm not sure
how PF state entries deal with this situation (i.e if there is a state
associated with interconnect does the state store the interface name as
em0 or interconnect). If the latter is true then it would make using
disparate hardware for HA firewalls much simpler, and attainable.
