Yes, I have heard this a couple of times and I agree (to some extent). On the 
other hand I do this for fun and porting pf was a hell of a party so far! 
Moreover, I use it as my maildomain and had a lot of fun during job 
interviews telling the story about why I got hold of that domain etc.

Anyway, getting a new .de domain is like 12 EUR/year or 17odd for com/net/org 
and I think I have that spare. You can also PayPal me some money for that 
purpose *hint*. So if you have a good suggestion for a TLD, just let me know.
