Hello, Harry.
Depending on your needs. Adding the following to the
DEFAULT_VERSIONS line in your /etc/make.conf
DEFAULT_VERSIONS+=perl5=5.24
eg; just add "perl5=5.24" to the line, or change that entry
to your desired version.
