the 5.22.2 is not, because it is done later in an interactive session.
Building in poudriere, and with portmaster is about the same, only poudriere
build everything in a clean place, and thus, never bails out.
I used a non patched ports tree, and system.
As for the architecture thing, now that you mention it, is is well hidden in
the reports, and I did not even see it until today.
I do not have, however, any mean to test anything else than i386 or amd64. I
don't see why the linker/compiler would behave in a radically different way
though.
