SpamAssassin 3.0 release

You both have this problem, and it's not normal, I'll have a look at it
tomorrow, because it should not go in /etc though, I have not experienced
this myself.

| Hi Mathieu,
|
| I found out that the reason a bunch of my settings were being
| ignored is because the local.cf (well the spamassassin configuration
| directory) previously was /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassassin and is now
| /etc/mail/spamassassin .. While you do mention a path of a local.cf
| in the /etc/mail/spamassassin directory in the UPGRADE file, it is
| only in the lock_method section of the upgrade file. Shouldn't there
| be a specific mention in the upgrade file that specifies that the path
| has changed?
|
| I still have more testing to do, like I still think my user
| ~/.spamassassin/user_pref files are being ignored maybe, but wanted to
| report this that I already found to you.

|
| Found this post by a random web search; thanks for the patch...
|
| Built OK for me and seems to work fine (after very brief testing).
|
| One proviso, though:
|
| In earlier ports (certainly 2.63; not sure if I ever installed 2.64)
| the local config lived in /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassasin; with this
| version (ie the current ports tree with your patch applied) the local
| config lives in /etc/mail/spamassassin
|
| Is this a deliberate change? If so, it could do with a big warning to
| the user (and perhaps copying over at least local.cf from the old
| location).
