Very low disk performance Highpoint 1820a

As I posted earlier also, I'm seeing the same behavior to a Fiber 
Channel RAID array (15 400GB SATA150 disks in RAID5 config).  I'm using 
a QLogic HBA connected directly to the SATA array.
