The handbook is a wonderful in-depth reference to FreeBSD; it gives tips and 
tricks while detailing pretty much every aspect of the base system (and covers 
a bit more). You can get a printed version from the FreeBSD Mall 
(http://www.freebsdmall.com) and you'll be helping to support the project!
