I had ported 3.6.1 and put it on RedPorts:

Unfortunately, 3.6 branch required a lot of new dependencies, e.g.,
Boost 1.51, ICU 49, clucene 2, etc.  We won't be able to update it
for quite some time, I'm afraid. :-(
