After any rebuild, the .cf and .mc files must be
rebuilt in /etc/mail. Possible that typing "make"
at the shell prompt from the /etc/mail directory
would accomplish this, though some guys who
understand it better could explain in more detail,
or give a more specific command.
You'll need to restart the daemon afterwards:
$/bin/sh /etc/rc.sendmail restart
