You probably mean "having the network stack optional", since under module we
usually mean loadable kernel module.

I have reviewed the patch and I don't have any strong objections against.

However, I'd ask you to delay the check in until 10.0-RELEASE is out. The head
diverging strongly from the stable/10 can hurt release process, we need bug to
bug compatibility for next month. :)
