FreeBSD Port: multimedia/vlc

Dear Port Maintainer,

I installed VLC on FreeBSD 12.2 using the binary package. I found that my
mediaserver was not found (like it is from VLC on Linux and IOS).

In German BSD forum someone told me, that UPNP feature is not enabled in that
package and I have to rebuild from ports myself. That is not a problem in
principle and I could manage.

But the question is left to me why that particular feature is not default. Is
there a special reason (security risk at worst)?

Otherwise, would it be possible to enable this option/protocol in the binary
package; I think it is wisely used.

Thank you for your answer,
Photor
