Yes, thank you, the above calculation is easy to understand. I was
totally confused.

But even without your complete, easy to understand calculation, I should
have noticed my mistake, since
2/4 are 1000 ms at 120 BPM and
2 beat * 19200 ticks/beat = 38400 ticks
