Change dsp output while media is being played (without a sound server)

Hello,

Let's say I launch  "mplayer  -ao oss:/dev/dsp3 file.ogv", dsp3 being my
USB audio device. Is there is any way to redirect the audio stream to
/dev/dsp1, natively without a sound server?
