I'm looking at the sound drivers for FreeBSD:

It seemed like development stalled about 13 years ago.

Has no one done any work on FreeBSD audio for that long?

Would anyone have issue with replacing ALSA with issue and calling it a day?

If anyone have any reasons why this would be a bad idea please let me know.
