You could remove the lines in the port Makefile:
.if ${ARCH} == "armv6"
CONFIGURE_ENV+= ASFLAGS=-no-integrated-as
.endif
to get rid of this compiler option.

What are you trying to accomplish by compiling it with gcc instead clang?
