But the USB specification is *not* the USB Audio specification.

USB Audio 2.0 devices can be recognized by a bFunctionProtocol
entry of 32 in lsusb, like this:

  ...
  bDeviceProtocol         1 Interface Association
  ...
      bFunctionClass          1 Audio
      bFunctionSubClass       0
      bFunctionProtocol      32
