FWIW, the onestop command doesn't work either:

root at kg-f4# service webcamd onestop
root at kg-f4# pgrep -lf webcamd
7439 /usr/local/sbin/webcamd -B -U webcamd -G webcamd -d ugen1.2 -i 0
root at kg-f4# service webcamd onestop ugen1.2
webcamd not running? (check webcamd.dummy).
root at kg-f4# pgrep -lf webcamd
7439 /usr/local/sbin/webcamd -B -U webcamd -G webcamd -d ugen1.2 -i 0
