For fun, I tried this one, with Bernhard's patches. It compiles and installs ok, and now I can even enable and configure the MythTV client.
Still doesn't work; XBMC complains "No PVR add-on enabled", "The PVR manager has been enabled without any enabled PVR add-on.
Enable at least one add-on in order to use the PVR functionality."

So now we know. :-)
