 I think original problem could be in "feeder_init(0xffffff00039d8500) on
 feeder_vchan returned -1" message. May be codec returned some set of
 formats, which vchan unable to handle. 7-STABLE probably don't crash
 just due to disabled INVARIANTS.
 
 Send me please full _verbose_ boot messages of your system.
