Hi all,
I have a fujitsu-siemens laptop p7120 which is affected by this well
known problem on the hda audio subsystem.

So I try to use the new driver I found here:

To see if it fixes the very annoying problem.

It solves the problem of described in the pr but now my laptop is MUTE.

lifebook:/home/gmarco> uname -a
7.1-PRERELEASE #6: Thu Sep 18 23:54:24 CEST
2008 gmarco at i386

in the messages I found:
hdac0: <HDA Codec #0: Realtek ALC260>
hdac0: <HDA Codec #1: Lucent/Agere Systems (Unknown)>
hdac0: hdac_audio_as_parse: Duplicate pin 0 (21) in association 1!
Disabling association.
pcm0: <HDA codec #0 Realtek ALC260 PCM #0> on hdac0
