I`ve tried with the first one (though in my ports it`s not fetchable, since 
it`s moved in another directory on the server), I have /dev/video0 created 
but when I try mplayer tv://dev/video0 I get nothing and these errors

The second one from ports that you recommend does nothing, it shows nothing in 
messages and doesn`t create /dev/video0. I`m interested in getting this to 
work under my freebsd since it`s my birthday present. So if there is 
something I can help with (testing mostly) just say.
