Hi Yuriy,

The card has both optical input and output, but unfortunately I don't
have any receiver with digital input, so I tried connecting it to my
5.1 speakers (Creative as well). Doing such experiment I hear:
#v+
cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp0.0 - nothig
cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp1.0 - hardly heard noise in rear speakers
cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp2.0 - probably nothing unless I'm deaf ;)
cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp3.0 - noise as within 1.0 but in center
cat /dev/random > /dev/dsp3.0 - as on dsp2.0
#v-

All /dev/mixer[0-4] settings are 100:100. Playing some clip with the
mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dspX.X produces the same noise, not even modulated
in any kind.
