Thinkpad Z60M, using acpi and acpi_ibm.

dev.acpi_ibm.0.lcd_brightness doesn't change when I use Fn-Home (increase
brightness) or fn-End (decrease). Writing to the sysctl DOES change the
brightness though. Same behaviour with dev.acpi_ibm.0.events either on 0 or 1


I tried using acpi_video, but nothing really seems to happen - no matter what I
write to the sysctls provided by it nothing changes. And they dont seem to
change no matter what I do... possibly doing the wrong tests? (switching LCD
on / off with radeontool, closing down lid,etc).

ok, but since writing to the knobs changes the brightness, shouldn't the acpi
event change the knob in turn, so they are in sync?
