hauppauge wintv

Hi.
 
I have a hauppauge wintv card in my freebsd pc.
I followed the instructions in freebsd handbook.
 
dmesg shows:

When a startx, X doesnt start (black screen) and a few seconds later the
machine reboots!



What could it be? How can I solve it?

Can someone help me please?
