Replace your sys/dev/sound/pci/ich.c with this:

  http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/test/ich.c

if that doesn't work, try to get previous ich.c from
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/sound/pci/ich.c

There are serious bugs within ich.c, which at least few has been
fixed.
