pvr350, cache problems and live tv how to do it best

I have PAL, with a cable connection in luxembourg.
I've only make these changes with cxm_controller:
input source: tuner
channel type: cable

Do I have to configure something else?

"file -s /dev/cxm0" gives this:
dda at home:~$ file -s /dev/cxm0

and gives this error in dmesg:
