cxm driver efforts

While trying to setup my mythtv box I've come across a few versions of the
cxm driver:  
	o the one in ports/multimedia/pvr250
	o ivtv4bsd
	o some version maintained by someone in japan
	o mythtv.son.org's modified version to support v4l2

While I know nothing of driver development, if I were to start hacking at
it to try to get it to support my pvr150, which version should I mess
with?
