Has anyone tried using the commercial OSS sound drivers for the
SBLIVE! cards in 4.10-Release?

You can download a free trial version and test them yourself. :)

I've used them with much success (ICH and ENVY24 drivers). However there has
been one report of the OSS SBLIVE driver not working with KDE's artsd (it
reportedly crashes on startup), which I can't confirm or deny since I don't
have any hardware supported by OSS' SBLIVE driver.
