minimal USB digital camera - any use?

I've been given a little cheapie generic '3-in-1' USB 1.1 digicam, and
wonder if there might be any FreeBSD support or aps for it at all, for:

  a) basic pix retrieval to .jpg (~108 x 640x480 &/or ~27 x 1280x960)
  b) 'webcam' operation (320x240 at 15fps, on windows anyway)

On a Compaq 1500c laptop running FreeBSD 4.5-R .. reformatted a bit:

paqi# usbdevs -v
Controller /dev/usb0:
addr 1: self powered, config 1,
   UHCI root hub(0x0000), Intel(0x0000), rev 0x0100
 port 1 addr 2: power 500 mA, config 1,
   product 0x010f(0x010f), vendor 0x093a(0x093a), rev 0x0100
 port 2 powered

in more detail:

paqi# /usr/sbin/usbd -d -v
usbd: opened /dev/usb0
usbd: reading configuration file /etc/usbd.conf
usbd: opened /dev/usb
usbd: attach event at 1091044856.462713000,
  product 0x010f, vendor 0x093a:
    vndr=0x093a prdct=0x010f rlse=0x0100
    clss=0x00ff subclss=0x00ff prtcl=0x00ff
  device names: ugen0
usbd: Found action 'USB device' for product 0x010f, vendor 0x093a at ugen0

The packaging/labelling & Chinese/English manual is ultra-generic:
  "digital camera" / "1.3MP *FUNKY* 3-in-1 digital camera" / CD130E2NG

Just for possible ID, the 'doze CD installs 'PhotoImpressions' and
'Funhouse', by Arcsoft of Fremont CA and Beijing, with the camera
selection being 'VGA Dual Camera'.

This is my first foray on FreeBSD into both digital cameras and USB, and
my first post to -multimedia; feel free to beat me senseless with clue
sticks, RT(which)FM etc .. I have searched the archives a bit ..

cheers, Ian
