writing DVD+R

Hi,
I'm trying to write a DVD+R on -current using burncd with this device:
acd0: CD-RW <PHILIPS DVD+RW-D28> at ata1-master UDMA33
Doing "burncd data cd.iso fixate" gives no errors and shows the usual
progress messages, but I can't mount the finished DVD+R:
[root at tnn] mount /cdrom
cd9660: /dev/acd0: Invalid argument
Windows also fails to mount the disk.
Doing the exact same sequence with a fresh DVD+RW medium works fine.
However, it requires a "burncd format dvd+rw" or burncd fails.
Any ideas?
Lars
