mozilla locking up

Does it unlock itself if you wait 5 minutes? If so, then you're being
hit by the 'find as you type' bug^Wfeature.

Work around is to go into Preferences : Advanced : Keyboard Navigation
and uncheck the 'Find As You Type' option.
