I own some Acer C720 Chromebooks, all running 12-CURRENT. They came in
2015/2016 with Cyapa touchpads which ara supported:

Apr 25 06:23:40 c720-r314251 kernel: iicbus0: <Philips I2C bus> on ig4iic_pci0
Apr 25 06:23:40 c720-r314251 kernel: ugen0.1: <0x8086 XHCI root HUB> at usbus0
Apr 25 06:23:40 c720-r314251 kernel: uhub0: <0x8086 XHCI root HUB, class 9/0, rev 3.00/1.00, addr 1>
 on usbus0
Apr 25 06:23:40 c720-r314251 kernel: cyapa0: <Cypress APA I2C Trackpad> at addr 0xce on iicbus0
Apr 25 06:23:40 c720-r314251 kernel: cyapa0: cyapa init status 8f
Apr 25 06:23:40 c720-r314251 kernel: cyapa0: CYTRA-103006-00 buttons=LM- res=870x470

One was for repair at Acer.com here in Germany and returned with the TP
changed to some ElanTech TP as I could see with booting a Linux. This is
AFAIK not yet supported in CURRENT.
