Last I heard, though, we that Damien was no longer working on FreeBSD
support. It sounded like someone on the FreeBSD side annoyed him and he
just said no more. (That happens too often, although I don't know what
happened in this case. Some computer folks seem to have the social
skills of a rhinoceros.)

OTOH, I did see a message from Damien in the past couple of days.
Hopefully, tempers are cooling.
