looking at an IBM ThinkPad T41

I just got a new Tecra M2, pre-loaded with XP.  SystemRescueCD
(http://www.sysresccd.org/) was my friend.  It includes QTParted,
which can shrink NTFS partitions without distrbing the existing OS
installation.
