Hot swap of bay devices -- problem solved (I8K)

What I do, except I always have a device in there rather than a battery, 
so it would never have been appropriate not to do the detach step.

Hmm. Never tried the floppy in the secondary bay - I usually attach it 
to the parallel port when I use it (about twice).
