If you mean testing a port takes a long time due to limited compute
power. While the project is still working on pre-commit CI in
doc/ports/src, I am using a hackish way to test ports with hosted CI
services, and Cirrus-CI has good FreeBSD support.

For example, I'm using this to test the changes to valgrind ports:

Maybe you can try it by following the layout in this repository.
