Sorry about the noise, in the end it was an issue with BouncyCastle: for some
reasons on OpenJDK7 it's capable to create a PKCS#7 signature with no need to
load the BouncyCastleProvider, while on OpenJDK8 it's necessary to do so… and I
forgot to do it, but preivously it worked just as well and I never noticed.
