SPAM on FreeBSD 6.2

Please,
I know that this is not a security group but I have a great problem with 
a spam in my mail server that it is in the same box of muy proxy 
firewall with FreeBSD 6.2 STABLE version. If somebody can help me with 
any experience or solution guide, I'll recieve any suggests.
