openjdk7 instead of openjdk6?

One of the problems seems to be a missing library:
libreoffice-3.5.7: /usr/local/lib/libreoffice/program/libofficebean.so
misses libjawt.so
>From what I have read, jdk7 does not have such a library (?) while jdk6
does.
Is that true? Makes no sense to me why it should be so...
