diablo jvm crash on amd64

I am running a 64-bit diablo-1.5.0_07-b01 jvm on an amd64 server (4gb) with Tomcat 5.5.20. 

Occasionally, when I restart or deploy a new instance of my web app via the Tomcat manager, the jvm crashes:

jvm startup arguments are: 
jvm_args: -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -verbose:gc -XX:-PrintTenuringDistribution -XX:+PrintHeapAtGC -Xloggc:/var/log/tomcat/gc.log -Djava.endorsed.dirs= -Dcatalina.base=/usr/local/tomcat5.5 -Dcatalina.home=/usr/local/tomcat5.5 -Djava.io.tmpdir=/usr/local/tomcat5.5/temp

I have attached a crash report. As I am no expert in this matter, I would highly appreciate any hints or thoughts.
