eclipse crashes on startup

It looks like the libzip symbol privatization problem that usually 
plagued jdk15 users. Two patches fixing this have been posted to this 
list (check the archives) and one of them has been committed to the 
latest jdk15 port. You could try using jdk15 and see if it works for 
you, or port the aforementioned fixes to jdk14.
