Mellanox infiniband support

Greetings,



I am implementing an interface server application with purpose to capture
and store data @ 50+Gbps. Ours is platform product that has 5 10Gbps
processing nodes and one management node. i did look for various solutions
and its supported software for FreeBSD.


Relevant information on following things will be very handful..

Is Mellanox Connect-X series supported fully and mature enough for FreeBSD
to create a product?

In particular,i am planning to use ASUS mother board with Mellanox
Connect-X3 on board. i dint find any FreeBSD driver supported for any of
the Connect – X 3(EN/IB) silicons.



Is it possible to daisy chain single port on-board Connect –X3 (EN/IB) with
QSFP connector? In case of no is there any alternative?i know one way to do
is, management node have Mellanox switches (6 ports) and connect each
processing node in star topology.


Are you planning driver release for FreeBSD in near future. i am looking
for release which can be used to release the platform product?


any information on few performance figures and release date plans will be
great.
