Boot on Transmeta-based PC?

Hello List!

Thanks for your help on my previous quandary, but I have another 
question O:-) Does anyone know whether FreeBSD i386 will boot on 
Transmeta Crusoe-based systems? I have been thinking of getting an older 
VAIO ultra-portable but would be horrified of running Windows on it. Any 
chances FreeBSD plays nice on these systems? I don't need any of the 
fancy features like the built-in camera or anything, but it would need 
wide-screen support in X as well, etc... If you have any questions I 
will try to track down a specific model number for you. Thanks!
