>Description:
We are using a Xeon CPU that matches this description of supported processor:
"Intel 64-bit Xeon (``Nacona''). This processor is fabricated on 90nm process technology, and operates with 2.80 to 3.60 GHz (FSB 800MHz) and Intel E7520/E7525/E7320 chipsets."

We are using an ASUS NCLV-D2/SATA motherboard that uses E7320 chipset.

Boot process (with verbose logging) reports total and available memory, then hits a line that reads, roughly
CPU 0 = APIC ID 1

and then the system hangs.

This happens using both 6.1 and 5.4 installs, and happens whether or not Hyperthreading is enabled for the CPU (via BIOS).
>How-To-Repeat:
Use the same parts we did.
