celeron 360mhz 256megs ram 6g harddisk maxtor

 I install freebsd go to boot and then the 6gig harddrive is 558megs or something, 586megs I think.

 Install Freebsd standard way 1,2,3
Get done, then reboot!!!
There it is 568megs or something.
I thought it might be LBA or something?
