Swap error compiling kernel 5.2.1

Hello. I'm new to freebsd (coming from linux) and I have a problem 
compiling the kernel 5.2.1. When I do make, the compilation takes lot of 
time until it says a lot of:

swap_pager_getswapspace(16): failed

I have 256 MB of RAM and a SWAP partition of 480 MB. Any idea about what 
is happening?
