i386/64724: Installer hangs on "Probing devices" on NForce2 chipset (Shuttle SN45G)

 I'm happy to say that with a kernel update from this morning (circa 0900
 GMT) the problem hasn't been reproducable.  Sysinstall now behaves
 itself perfectly.  Unfortunately as it's been so long between kernel
 updates I can't say when it was fixed :(
