After enable of SMP, done with uncommenting following in kernconf:

#options        APIC_IO                 # Symmetric (APIC) I/O

and after install the server does not boot. It seem to be some kind of disk-problem. This is error i get just after syslogd is started:
ahd1: Timeout SCBs already complete. Interrupts may not be functioning
