i386/60671: FreeBSD 5.2RC2 installation process doesn't make it to /stand/sysinstall

 The workaround above does not work!  I attributed my success to 
 disabling the module 'md', but the success actually occured because I 
 removed my wireless pcmcia network card (model#WPC11 version 3) prior to 
 booting the FreeBSD CD.
